Two weeks ago we drove to southern Ohio (along with Craig's parents and sister and her family) for a couple days to visit with Craig's Grandma. We stayed in Hocking Hills and enjoyed several miles of hiking through some beautiful scenery.
Here are the cousins in the middle of our hike. . . the little ones were a bit tuckered out! (O.K. . .. .so were us big ones!)The second day we were there the cousins spent quite a bit of time playing outside at Great-Grandma's house. It was fun to watch them repeatedly pile on top of each other. Karisa was a trooper on the bottom!
Here are the cousins with Great-Grandma.
Craig's parents rented a beautiful cabin in the woods for all of us to stay at while we were there.
While visiting Grandma's house, Craig (along with his dad and brother-in-law) were able to pick out some of Grandpa's saws and woodworking tools that he used quite a bit when he was still living. We filled a 15 ft. trailer with everything. This was certainly an emotional part of the trip as there are quite a few memories of Grandpa and the woodshop. We are thankful for the memories we have with him and several beautiful wood items in our house made by him.
