Spring is one of our favorite times of year for many reasons - One of which is that the butterflies are back at the Meijer Gardens. When we had a few days of hot weather a couple weeks back, we combined a trip to see the butterflies with a family picnic.
Karisa and Hannah were very busy keeping track of which butterflies they spotted.
Zach was initially a little fearful when a butterfly unexpectedly almost landed on him. But it didn't take long for him to get used to them. He started walking around calling out, "Butterfly, Catch me! Butterfly, Catch me!" (Meaning - please let me catch you, butterfly!).
