This past week we said good-bye to Craig's Grandpa. He had suffered from an extended illness and passed away last Tuesday morning. We are so thankful for such wonderful memories over the years and are also thankful for the opportunity Craig had to share Christ at the funeral service.

Grandpa's casket - He was a WWII veteran and so his casket was draped with this flag which was then folded up and given to Grandma.
The 21 Gun Salute
Grandpa could make about anything out of wood, it seemed. We have quite a few things in our house made by him - little rockers, candlestands, a decorative shelf. We stopped to see Grandpa's workshop one more time while we were in Ohio. The girls thought it was pretty special to stand on top of the table for the picture. :)
