I love my husband for a multitude of reasons. . . one of the more "shallow" reasons being that he takes it upon himself to help Karisa with her Awana Grand Prix car each year. It's a special project they do together. Karisa designed and painted her car herself this year with just a little help from Daddy.
Here's the finished product. . . complete with "Karisa loves Daddy" on top (abbreviated). Karisa's car obviously did not win the Design competition, but to us it was the best car!!
This is Karisa's car during racetime last night. It didn't win any speed awards either, but that's OK, for as Karisa said afterwards, "Winning isn't everything!"
