This past August we drove to Nebraska for a Petersen family reunion. We were able to visit my Grandma Petersen (93 years old) in the hospital for a brief time - And how special those few moments are now as we look back on them. Grandma went home to be with her Savior on December 17. We are SO thankful for the Godly legacy she has left behind.
Zachary and I flew out to Nebraska last weekend for Grandma's memorial service. It was a very special time for the family to celebrate her life. Zachary did great on the airplane. . . for which I was very grateful!
Each one of the family members was able to pick some flowers/greenery from the spread that was on her casket. My pickings survived the flights home and now I have a special reminder to me of a very special Grandma!
