Apple Picking

What a fun family night we enjoyed together picking apples. The girls have been looking forward to this since last fall. Maggie's first reaction to the tractor when it pulled up wasn't so pleasant. . . but she managed to calm down after a bit.

All 3 girls helped pick apples - Even Megan kept busy "helping."

After the girls worked for awhile, they each got to enjoy an apple. Megan had never eaten a whole apple before, and she was absolutely thrilled with her treat!

Now the real work begins! Lord-willing, I'll get some applesauce and apple pie fillings made before the baby comes. If not, Craig is going to be busy in the kitchen over the next few weeks. :)
