This has been a meaningful Lent Season and now specifically Holy Week for our family. Each year the girls look forward to this time of year to use their Resurrection Eggs (although we get them out throughout the year, too!). Also this year we have been using Desiring God's Lenten Lights devotionals in the evenings - Scripture reading and lighting of candles (one less each night) - to help us prepare for Good Friday and Easter. After blowing out our last candle tonight and contemplating the darkness of Good Friday, we eagerly anticipate Easter when we can light all the candles again and celebrate the Light of the World!

So fun to see someone else using some of the same resources we do! I really like your idea of using tealight candles - want to remember that for next year. A couple days after Easter, we hid all of the eggs and let them each find 4, then we had them open the eggs up in the correct order and comment briefly about whatever they opened. They loved it, and it was a good review of the most wonderful story on earth!
