We celebrated Hannah's 4th birthday this past week - Hard to believe it's been 4 years since this spunky girl came into our family. What a blessing she is! She's been asking for months for hot dogs and a Princess castle cake for her birthday. . . . and she was even more excited then to get "green" ice cream to go with the cake!
My favorite part of the evening was watching her when she opened up the present containing a new Bible. Her reaction was priceless. She has always had a unique love for Bibles, and was obviously thrilled to have one of her own (She's been using mine from childhood).
Immediately after opening all her gifts (including a couple fun new toys) we found her sitting by herself thumbing through her new Bible. We pray fervently that God will continue to grow her love for Scripture as she gets older.
