Memorial Day - Part 1

It's been a little while since we've posted an update. It's been a little crazy around here. :) Craig was gone last week at the Pastor's Conference at Moody Bible Institute. It was a great week of learning and refreshment. The beginning of the weekend I took the girls down to Indiana to my parents' house to visit with some of my extended family from out-of-state. And in the midst of all of that our camera has broken and so now we are experiencing once again what it's like to take pictures without being able to view them on the screen. Anyhow. . . we were all home together for Memorial Day and enjoyed a busy day of outside work. The girls were eager to help us plant our flowers this year. We planted a long row of Vincas next to our sidewalk.
Karisa worked hard to help Daddy enlarge our garden this year so we could grow a few more fruits and vegetables. We planted tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and squash as we have in previous years. We are also planning to try canteloupe this year.
The girls each picked out some petunias for the planter on our deck.
