Yesterday our youth group hosted our third annual church-wide Rummage Sale to raise money for Teen Leadership Conference this summer and also for a future overseas missions trip. So the last few days our family has been living at the church (not really - but it sure seems like it!) as we have been organizing and pricing everything. Karisa and Hannah had a blast while we were setting up on Thursday and Friday - playing with all the toys that were donated. It was just like Christmas for them (except they didn't get to take the toys home!).

Here is what the church basement looked like right before the sale started yesterday.

Upstairs we had a Bake Sale - with some VERY delicious looking cookies, pies, cakes, bread, etc.

Outside we sold our bigger items.

And behind the church the teens washed cars to raise additional money.

It was a great day - We continue to praise God for His goodness in providing financially for us. We raised over $2100!!! It's exciting to watch how God turns things like "junk" and baked goods into money that then will be used to help impact the lives of teens. . . and Craig and I get to watch firsthand how it all plays out. We are truly blessed!
